Homeware Haul For When You Live At Home: Bedroom

Ever since I got my first room in the garage I have been obsessed with decorating rooms. But since moving into my boyfriend’s family home I haven’t been able to decor or put my own stamp on a room and to say it’s been hard is an understatement. As someone who can’t wait to have a house in the hopes one day I can completely renovate and decorate a place from scratch to make it quite completely my own knowing I haven’t been able to do it to my one room I get (although now shared) hasn’t helped the whole adjustment of living in my parents family home. Some may say that’s high maintenance but for me my bedroom is one my place I can fully relax, unwind and just enjoy myself.

So after a fair few breakdowns – sorry Sam. We have finally come to the agreement that I can change up our room a little (a lot). Starting with the fact we have two wardrobes in our room, the major cause of my stress we are getting rid of both hopefully and getting a chest of drawers and a wardrobe to share. Hello adulthood!

But along with the furniture comes the decorating, probably my favourite thing ever. Poor Sam isn’t going to know what do with all of these trinkets and candles I want in the room, he may end up regretting that I could do this and taking solace with his xbox to try and ignore the decorating going on behind him.

So here is a little peak on what I hope will start to take place in our room.

1. Desenio Prints | 2. Chest of Drawers | 3. Vase | 4. Trinket Box | 5. Blue/Grey Cushion | 6. Boho Hanging | 7.Rose and Oud Candle | 8. Dried Tall Cortaderia Selloana Pampas Grass | 9. Desenio Prints | 10. Dark Amber Candle | 11. Hexagonal Mirror | 12. Dark Rust Cushion | 13. Gold Frame | 14. Boho Cushion | 15. Natrual Dried Bunny Tail | 16. Wardrobe

  1. I’m like you, I love having my own space and being able to decorate it as I wish and make it feel like my own. I’m currently living in a rented home and although I’ve lived here for 5+ years, it doesn’t feel like home. I can’t wait to move out into my own place and be able to put my own stamp on it without restrictions. LOVE those prints, can’t wait to be able to nail prints onto the wall! Its the little things that make a house, a home
